PPA168

I decided to try my hand at another Paper Pal challenge.  I love Stampin' Up products and thanks to my wonderful demonstrator Laurie, I have quite a bit of SU paper, stamp pads, stamp sets etc. etc.

Here is my card recipe...
Card stock - American Crafts White
Background Paper - Pink Petticoat (another of my favourites!!!) in Cool Aqua polka dots and Hydrangea's in Silver Cloud
Stamp set - Lacey and Lovely by Stampin' UP
Ink - Smoky Slate (which is my new favourite colour...it just works with everything)
Ribbon - is just from my stash

Thanks for stopping by...

Cute Car

My son took the test for his drivers licence on Wednesday and passed on his first try!  We are so proud of him that I decided to make a fun card to wish him congratulations.  It was very simple as I just cut a template from cuts and clips.  I used paper from Pink Petticoat and put some acetate in the windows.

Freshly Made Sketches 99

I created this card for the Freshly Made Sketches 99 challenge.  I used Stampin' Up Flower Shop and Million & One Stamp sets.  The Paper is American Crafts white card stock and Hydrangea's from Pink Petticoat.  The ink is Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Calypso Coral and my new favourite Smoky Slate.   Each flower has a small swarovski crystal as I love everything that sparkles.   I made a matching envelope as well lined with Pink Petticoat paper.  Although it is not pictured here I also decorated the inside of the card.  Thanks for looking!

Welcome to my blog

Hi.  I am 100% new to this blogging thing so please bare with me.  I created the following card for PPA167 challenge this week.  It is a colour challenge using new colours from Stampin' Up - crisp cantaloupe, coastal cabana and pistachio pudding.  I added some flowers from my etsy shop - Pink Petunia Paperie and used a Martha Stewart edge punch.  I found the colours to be very pretty but somewhat subtle so I hope you like it.
