Case Cards

I cased these cards from a card I saw on Pinterest here..http://3umbrellas.blogspot.ca/2014/03/case-this-sketch-69.html and I absolutely love them.   They were super simple one layer cards using Avery Elle stamp set which doesn't seem to have a name.  I stamped the sentiments with black memento and then used Simon Says Stamp ink called twirling tutu, jellybean, lavender, hydrangea and lake shores.  I decorated inside each of the cards and the envelopes.

I made this card for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week using pool party, wonder wisteria and daffodil delight.  I used the SU Stamp set called Secret Garden for the flowers, Curly Cute for the sentiment and the heart is from a Simon Says Stamp set called Hello Beautiful.

Muji Paper Block

I have been having trouble uploading my photos and so I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to my paper block.  As you can see I have stamped a small image in each of my inks from Simon Says Stamp on this block and although it's not clear I have also written the name of each colour.  It is just a simple and small way of carrying my colours with me.

If you haven't been in a Muji store yet, it is really worth the visit.  They have a little bit of everything but there stationary and organization  products are really cool (and functional).  If you are in the Toronto area, there is one at the Atrium on Bay just across the street from the Eaton Centre and one in Square one.

I was away at a quilting retreat all last week and didn't have anytime to put together a card for this weeks challenge so I just made this this morning.  It's two of my favourite colours, Sahara Sand and pretty in pink.

I decided once again this week to make a second card for the PPA295 colour challenge.  I used a die from Simon Says Stamp called Single Roses.  I used bermuda bay card stock for the flowers and I didn't have any cucumber crush so I used an old Stampin up paper called gumball green for the leaves and crumb cake for the frame.  The sentiment is Stampin Up set called Thank you and Hello.  I hope you like it.

Muji Key Ring Memo Block

I found the coolest thing at Muji the other day.  They are little paper blocks on a key ring.  I am going to use them to keep track of all my stamp pad colours...one per manufacturer and a single colour stamped and labeled on each page.  They cost a dollar each and are going to be very handy while taking up very little space.  Check back later to see my finished blocks.

Once again I have made an entry for the the Pals Paper Arts Colour Challenge this week.  I used a MFT things die called Fresh Cut Flowers in the challenge colours, crumb cake, bermuda bay and cucumber crush.  I fell in love this die when I saw some cards using it by one of my favourite bloggers, Im in Haven.

Clean and Simple

This is another stamp set that I just purchased at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff.  That store is so amazing and I am so happy that I live so close to the border so that I can get there frequently.  This set is from Avery Elle and is called Banner and Wreath.  I just love the simplicity of it.

I stamped it on whisper white, coloured the flowers with prismas, fussy cut and applied with glue dots.  The little cluster of flowers worked just perfectly on the envelope flap.

Happy Monday

Although it is officially spring, the weather today was anything spring like but rather cold and snowy.  I heard today that this was the most snow we have had at this time of the year in over 40 years.  Regardless of the winter weather, I decided to share a very spring like card today.

I stamped and embossed on vellum and coloured the image on the back with prismacolour pencil crayons.  The stamp and die set is one of my favourites from Simon Says Stamp and is called Roses For Your.  The paper square was die cut with Simon Says Stamp stitched square dies.  The paper is digital from Pink Petticoat (sadly now defunct) and the "have a beautiful day" stamp is from Hobby Lobby.

PPA294 too

I decided to make another card for the Pals Paper Arts 294 challenge.  This is the one that I am going to submit as I was unhappy with my other two tries.  It is very simple using the Garden in Bloom stamp set which I absolutely love...it gives you the look of watercolour without the watercoloring...and blushing bride card stock and stamp pad.  The black ink is Memento.

I made these two cards today for the PPA294 Challenge and I can't decide which one to use.  Does anyone have any ideas as to which I should select?  Your comments would be most appreciated.  Thanks and have a great day.

My card recipe is as follows:  Stampin Up English Garden DSP and Garden in Bloom Stamp set.  Just Because stamp is from Hobby Lobby.
